I bought this phone as a replacement for the same model that I managed to drown. Guess what? Managed to drown this one as well after less than a month. My next phone, a samsung, very similar model, cost me less than £20. In retrospect I realise that the Nokia was over priced.

Bought this as an emergency phone to use when I go abroad (don't always like taking the iPhone).

Pros

1. It's a traditional mobile phone - no bells or whistles.
2. Big buttons (yes, it has buttons, you don't press the screen).
3. Holds its charge forever (if you don't use it regularly then it can last on charge for a week).
4. Nice flip action, which protects the buttons and screen.
5. Small enough to easily fit inside pockets.
6. Doddle to set up.

If you're used to modern smartphones, you may want to consider the following:

1. Texting is painful - it's the traditional Nokia texting functionality. Even short messages can take forever to type out (subsequently, adding contacts can be painfully slow too).
2. Camera is pretty hopeless (1.3 MP).
3. Phone feels cheap and is made of cheap plastic.
4. Screen is quite small.

If you just want to make calls and send the occasional text, then this is a great phone. Just beware that it looks and feels cheap.

So it turns out that E Mobile Mart are in Guangdong! That's China to you and me, nowhere on the ad is that stated so the Standard UK mail delivery part is utter nonsense, I ordered my phone as a replacement on the 18th September and expected it to turn up in a couple of days based on the 5 star reviews of others. When I enquired what had happened I was told that it's coming from China and may take a month to arrive. Sorry but if that was stated in the ad I would have found one in the UK cos that's where I expected this one to come from and I needed a replacement quickly. When it does arrive I'll review the phone but for now I've got to score this a big zero rating!

Good value and does the job if you just want a plain *phone* with no extra gimmicks. Its also quite tough (I've dropped it many times onto a hard floor). Conveniently folds up quite small so its easy to keep in a pocket.

On first acquaintance this is a super little phone if you want some add ons but not one that makes the coffee too. Took ages to research and decide on my new phone. Just want to be able to text, phone and e-mail and prefer a flip for convenience and to protect screen / keyboard. This is a smart looking phone and the back display is very handy. It is compact but still has a good sized and clear keyboard and excellent screen display. It takes photos and videos and has a radio and Bluetooth connectivity + headset included. Not sure why you want all this in a phone but they work fine if you do.
It's going to take a bit of use to find my way around the menues, different ways of texting and e-mailing etc but the manual is reasonable and the on-screen instructions pretty clear. Battery life excellent as everyone says in reviews. Early days but am very pleased it is even better than hoped and excellent value. One word of warning though - DO NOT use Iconic Phones they are an absolute scam; had not delivered in two weeks, never respond to e-mails and refused to cancel the order and Amazon unable to do anything to help resolve. Ended up filing a claim. Another Market place company were selling at a lower price and offered to deliver in less than 5 days. They delivered in 2 and phone is pristine

Front window of phone which is supposed to show the time wouldn't work, no matter what setting I went into I couldn't get it to show anything, I looked up reviews of this phone and quite a few people have said the same thing, obviously a common defect, phone hinges also looked as though they wouldn't last very long. Sent it back and got a full refund, would have been 1 star but the seller pulled out all the stops to refund me.

The phone is supposed to be bluetooth enabled but it doesn't work. Since purchasing I have found this is a common fault. Full refund was provided.

having got my phone i was happy to get started, when i opened the box it looked like it was a second . When i put the battery in sparks jumped from the surround area. I sent it back. Took a long time to get a refund and what a nasty company. Please be careful who you buy from. Never use a company called ''FASTSELL'' They are not a honest company... Be careful.
