i have bought this phone under the understanding it was sim free but is locked to the three network and i cannot get it unlocked so i am in the process of asking the owner for a refund. This item was bought as a christmas present so it has only been open a few days. is there any way you can help me.

Bought as an upgrade from iphone 3 - absolutely delighted, as so much faster.

Apple never fail to impress me with their amazing technology. The iPhone 4s is yet another fantastic creation, it is basically an iPad 2, iPod and smart phone all rolled into one great little package.

There are millions of Apps (applications: software to play with) for you to download in seconds from the App Store within the phone. The 2 cameras (forward and rear facing) produce beautiful photos and video. There are millions of songs at your fingertips within the iTunes App, and all the music and video played through the iPhone sounds and looks brilliant. The design and layout looks wonderful and is easy to use; I barely needed the instruction manual. The phone itself is clear and simple with some very nice features; visit Apple's page online to see exactly what this device can do.

Just buy one, you will love it...

ALSO THE PHONE CAME WITH NO CHARGER WITCH I FONDE ODD WHO BUYS A PHONE WITH NO CHARGER REALLY!!!!! AS IT GOSE THE PHONE WORKS FINE AND IS OK BUT HAVE SENT THE ADD AND ALSO PICTURES OF HOW THE PHONE CAME TO TRADING STANDERS DUE TO THE MISSLEADING ADD

Very happy with this phone. It was delivered on time and came in the proper phone box and packaging. Charger also included. It's unlocked and can be used with any network, im currently on Orange and have no problems whatsoever switching from my previous blackberry to the iPhone, with only a quick call to Orange to get the micro sim sent out for the iPhone.
The phone is in great working order and quick net access and now wonder why I didn't get one sooner!

I purchased an IPhone 4S Sim Free as a birthday present for my granddaughter who lives in Cyprus. I purchased it sim free in order that she could choose a provider in Cyprus. She is now told the phone is blocked and will have to pay Euro150 to activate the phone with her new sim card purchased in Cyprus. Why is this?? I understood Apple products would work anywhere!! The cost of the IPhone was quite a lot of money but now I am faced with having to send out the cost of connecting her up in Cyprus. She has spoken to an Apple advisor in Cyprus which she got from the web and was told because it was purchased in UK this was the reason. Surely its possible to purchase Apple items anywhere in the world and have them work elsewhere than from the country of purchase. For example I bought my IPad from New York and set it up here in UK and it works great.
Some feed back on this would be appreciated.

Just like new, network unlocked. Very tidy, packed in a factory box with earphone, USB cable, and the adapter.
Easy to use with numerous Apps to download. High resolution camera, is what I need.

Great phone , Apple sent very quickly after ordering, very pleased with it, works very well with iPad also. Had a Blackberry, very happy to have changed to iPhone.
