Personally, i don't have much luck with phones, my baby Exsperia died a while ago and thought a blackberry would do me as i was so used to a full keyboard and touch screen, which in what drew me to have this phone. I have a contract sim for the phone but i doubt that makes any difference (educate me if i'm wrong, i'm not the most technical person out there) Its a good phone, simple to use believe it or not considering all the crap that you can do with it. But SERIOUSLY LISTEN. do not take this phone on holiday, or at least use it abroad It had completely ruined my phone, my settings change automatically, my network coverage does not last more than a minute at a time before switching to SOS and even connected to my sky router, my internet does not work. I've had it repaired twice and still, i can not get my internet and net work to last longer than five minutes without having to switch off my phone and turn it on again. I have had no explanation as to why this happens.(If anyone knows why its doing this, with a reason beyond the fact Spain screwed my phone) If anyone else has had these problems with this phone alert me and send it back. Its not fun to have to write a one line text and have to wait five minutes to finish it or have phone calls cut off because of the problems i'm having. Its not fun, quite frankly it annoying. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful

I've had mine for a year now, the phone looks great and on the surface should be up to everything an iPhone can do.However once you start using the phone you soon realise the battery can't keep up with the usage and the apps are far more limited than an iPhone.
Beware the screen is also as fragile as an egg shell and will cost you if you want it replaced when you break it.
Overall I think I'll be going back to the iPhone once my contract is up.

Solidly built, battery lasts for 2 days which is very satisfying compared to my Android which lasted only for 7hours. No freezing, no faults so far. Great reception. 5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic little phone., 13 Dec 2012

Ive had this phone for a few months. Its super easy to use. Im not good with phones but this was easy to set up, easy to use the BBM, and most of all i found it easy to send a text. The camera is ok i guess. Nothing special in that area. But its a camera at the end of the day. You can take photos real easy and send them. Its a great phone and im sure i will buy another at some point. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful

I bought this phone one week ago, tried hard to enjoy it, and have just returned it.The phone is stunning to behold: solid, with excellent and durable materials, with a retina-like touchscreen (it is really very good), and the best keypad on the market. Physically, it is a fantastic machine.
But there are three key reasons why it just can't suit my needs--even after hours spent with my office IT people helping me with it. Here they:
THE BATTERY is just not up to scratch. It is just too slim and thus too small for the demands of BB OS-7: this powerful operating system requires more power. The race for slimness led to a poor design in trms of power. Ther are hundred of complaints about this online. Do not want to dim my screen, charge it evy day at my office and then evry night at home. Apple does not have webpages dedicatd solely to giving its users tips on conserving their batteries. Blackberry has dozens.
NO IMAP EMAIL SYNCHRONIZATION, so unless your office serves has an "Enterprise License" then you will not be avle synchronize this phone's email programme with your email folders. Even if you have Gmail - you will not be able to delete a message on the phone and see that it was deletd on your PC. This phone was deisgned to synchronize only with certain licensed servers, so if you are using one that your IT people say isn't licensed with Enterprise software, and you use email folders, kiss them goodbye. yes, you could use a third-party mail client like LogicMail (which is good), but that's like using biodiesel to power your Porsche. it just was not meant to work this way.
UNRELIABLE MICRO-SD PORT. This machine has an excellent music player. But its micro-sd slots, wherein your store the card that stores your music, is not reliable. Sometimes you need to clean it (this phone was two days old) and sometimes you don't. Very annoying.
So this baby is going back to the shop. It consumed too much of my time, with fruitless results, and I tried hard to make this work!
I just bought at iPhone 4 , now and unlocked, from Apple, on sale for £319. based on reviews, I will not encountr these problems. With fingers crossed!

I recently got this 9900 phone as my work phone. Its a big improvement from the previous Bold I had for work phone.RIM finally brought in the touchscreen interface for this model. I am happy with the fast speed of this phone and the browsing of the internet experience has improved significantly. I would still prefer my Android phone over this phone any day but for the prime purpose of work emails and phone calls this does its job well.

Bad:Freezes a lot
Battery lasts 3hours texting about 50times within them 3hours...
Upstairs is my router downstairs is my blackberry, blackberry doesn't pick up my wifi unless I'm upstairs... iPhone picks it up downstairs though...
If you get about 3 games on it, all it does is freeze had to delete them due to having to take batter out 3 times in 15minutes!
Fingerprints all over the back
I found the lowest on the speaker was too loud when listening to music in a silent room...
Good:
Nice design
Big keyboard
Luxury feel
Simple and nice
Conclusion:
This is a beautiful high quality phone but yet fails to deliver in terms of actually using the phone! I don't know if you buy a phone just for looks get this if you buy it for performance don't get it...
Thanks
