I've just taken delivery today, only a week after ordering.
I'm surprised by the build quality, which is really quite good - no worse than many other phones which cost significantly more than this.
The screen is okay, not as good as some of the hd or better devices, but certainly usable.
Battery life seems pretty good, I've been using it all afternoon and have only just had my "less than 15%" warning message. The battery was not fully charged when I inserted it, so I'm confident of getting a full day of pretty heavy use.
Mine is 4.1.1, Jellybean.
Can't comment on the camera at the moment.
Call quality is actually very good, better than my Nokia Lumia 800 which has now been replaced.
For the money, you can't go wrong.

I bought this in the hope that the large screen might restore my ability to see anything on my phone without the need for glasses, and have not been disappointed. Still finding my way around it, but note the following points.
Camera is 5 MP not 8
Android is 4.1.1, not 4.0.4
Ring is impressively loud. Before this one I hadn't heard a mobile phone ring out-and-about since they made them polyphonic.
Name from the phone book doesn't come up on incoming calls or in the call log. Maybe I need to tweak some setting, but surely this should be the default!?
The battery usually lasts days, and there are two of them, though I expect I am a light user.
The battery went down quickly when I used Bluetooth to transfer the 'live' contacts from my old device.
OpenStreetMap off-line maps plus Oruxmaps plus GPS; I should never get lost again!

An extremely good cell phone from a great company (Star) and their electronic trading outlet (Draco Tek). This phone deserves a 5 star! The main let down is the camera. That is all...

This is a beautiful and powerful piece of gadget. Please, do not drop it... Cell phones are not met to be dropped.

I have my hospital internet access were I work. I also have Wifi at home. So when I switch off GPS, Bluetooth, WiFi, and 3G Data services temporarily, and use them as needed, my phone can last up to 5 days!!! Yes you heard me... 5 days.

I turn them on every 30 minutes each in the morning, afternoon, and evening or when really needed. But I hardly use them as I have better access at home and work.

Lastly, I program it to shut off automatically at 10:00 PM and switch on at 05:AM... So my battery really lasts. What is the use of turning all these gadgets on 24 hours daily, when you are not using them constantly? 30 minutes three times a day is OK for good syncing in my opinion. And then switch on as needed, really needed....

I am gonna follow this cell phone with keen interest. I would mostly purchase their next improved cell phone design..... I say a big thank you to Draco Tek...

Ordered one of these on Christmas Eve - delivered in about a week.
I had no previous experience of these large, Galaxy Note type phones, and the boot time seemed rather long at 30 seconds. However, once the phone started it worked smoothly and quickly.
Build quality is excellent - really looks the part.
Spent a long time moving the language to English from Chinese (Settings>Personal >Icon with black A on white background>First Option. Manual is useless.
The protective case seemed OK but a little flimsy - it's rather strange, in that the back needs to be removed to fit the case. Replacement might be a problem.
Browser is responsive and easy to use.
Camera is very basic - definitely not the quality you'd expect from 8 MP, but OK for snaps.
My problem came when adding SIM cards for phone use. I spent hours trying to make Giff Gaff, 3 and Orange sim cards work. Then noticed that on the home screen (just after the phone boots) it reads 'invalid IMEI' twice, which apparently means that there is no way to make phone calls with it. This was confirmed by Orage, 3 and some phone repair stands. Apparently this is one of the occupational hazards of ordering phones from China, so check your home screen before wasting your time.
I applied for a refund from the supplier, who issued it promptly. I don't know if the supplier was particularly good, but was very glad of the Amazon A to Z guarantee.
I have now purchased the Star MTK6575 (again through Amazon) - this one apparently has a clip which means it fits snugly into a Galaxy Note case. If the build quality is the same as this one, things look good.
I am using Drakotec for my new order - looking at the feedback, they have the highest confidence rating. Occasionally they are not shown as the supplier for some of these phones, but then they reappear after a few days.
Will report on the new phone when I receive it.

What can i say about this phone .
Wife loves this phone better then laptop this is a first class product for the money every thing works as it should and very easy to use only downside is the instruction manual need to supply large magnifying glass as writing so small, but so far haven't had to use the manual as phone tablet is easy to set up i rate the phone tablet 10/10

It does what it says. Arrived early. It did not accept my virgin sim card initially. I had to call virgin tech support for them to go through a number of technical things before I could get it working. Since then no problems. However it worked straight with my THREE sim card.

The phone is excellent, its not better than a Galaxy note II or a SIII but it is £300 cheaper, and its not a 1/4 of the phone. It's easy to hold (and I have tiny hands). The device has excellent battery life (also comes with a spare so another bonus).

The headphones are excellent and sound quality is excellent, my music is important to me and the lack of headphone options with this phone did put me off at first but now owning it It is well worth it. Even though Its Chinese all the software is android and all the apps are available in English UK.

So it no different from a HTC Its better than most middle of the range mobiles and the tablet sizes and apps mean its an excellent crossover into the tablet mobile phone market. I've owned much worse and more expensive smartphones in my life and this is excellent.

First impressions were really good, I expected a cheap clone, and it is. The screen and camera are not nearly as good as the £300+ original, but for the money, excellent. Three weeks later though, and the touch screen just stops working, LCD is OK, but doesn't respond to touch. Factory reset etc., no joy. Bu**er!

Also, the Android build is quite strange, not sure what they've done, but there's some root-kit installed which keeps elevating permissions for something in the background. It keeps updating with software I haven't installed, and because its in Chinese I have no idea what the software is. I also could never get it working with English as a default language for spell checking in text messages, everything I type would show as a spelling mistake (and I know what I'm doing).

The camera is really, really appalling. I could never hear anyone very well on a phone call, really quiet.
