I ordered this phone in a hurry as my previous phone failed and I needed replacement fast. I cannot get on with it but am tied into an ORANGE contract until next year. The first one went back as it kept sending photo texts every few seconds to my daughter! This one sometimes sends multiple texts on it's own (and I have it in a hard flip case at all times so no accidental dialling etc.) The keyboard is not intuitive- I get smiley faces when hitting delete, change languages when hitting space bar and get corrections of my abbreviations in texts such as 'Thurs' corrects me to write 'thugs'. I have reduced my texting because correcting is too difficult! I have never managed to adjust the sensitivity to my satisfaction. The strange addition of buttons to a touch phone is weird for changing applications and going back to menu etc.

Several phone shops just groan and say they have NEVER sold one and they think it is awful (and these weren't sale pitches, I wasn't buying).

Try any other phone but not this.

Its a great phone especally if you need glasses like I do no little letters or numbers to worry about, It is so easy to use aswell.

I don't normally write product reviews, but, this phone is so bad that I thought it was my duty to inform other people about it. This phone is terrible, the touch keypad is too small and unresponsive, the input language randomly changes every few days and the browser just does not work - I could go on and on. I'm amazed Blackberry have the nerve to sell this

GSM FONZ - DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY I RETURNED A HANDSET TO THE 30 MAY 12 TO BE FIXED THEY STILL HAVE THE HANDSET (17/10/12) THEY WILL NOT ANSWER ANY OF MY EMAILS AND ARE REFUSING TO CONACT ME AFTER I TOLD THEM I HAD CONTACTED BLACKBERRY AS IT WAS TAKING SO LONG FOR HANDSET TO BE FIXED FOR BLACKBERRY TO TELL ME THEY HAVE NEVER HAD MY HANDSET SO THE COMPANY HAVE LOST OR STOLE MY PHONE. SO I AM £156 DOWN AND NO PHONE. WILL BE CONTACTING WATCHDOG PLEASE DO NOT RISK USING THIS COMPANY

This was/is the very first blackberry I've had and I can say it's amazing. The battery life is much better than my previous smartphones (iPhone, Samsung S2, etc) and the speed is also good. The phone is as described and had quick delivery.

Got this on contract with Orange. It did not take me long to set it up. The battery is okay, with all smartphones the battery does not last as long as standard mobiles. Great for documents on the go, you can do documents on it, where as the iPhone you can only view them.
The battery is better than the iPhone, works very simular to the iPhone too. You can use your fingers to zoom in to the webpages and do a search just like the iPhone. Software wise, I have not had to update all the time, the Software Updates are not important anyway.

Overall, good for my first Smartphone.

This phone must have been released before it was ready. Battery life is terrible (half day according to my daughter!) and the phone keeps going into a reboot cycle with the error "JVM Error 545" to get rid of this you must update the phone with a new version of firmware AND you lose all your data each time, have done this twice this month already.

only had this a couple of days so a bit early doors for a full review but - its a lovely object,very nice screen quality,responsive touch screen,wifi works well,instinctive interface,light,usefull trackpad....

i really bought it in the hope of leaving my netbook at home on photography trips and as i can get hotmail/fb on wifi and the screen is good enough to show models/other togs examples of my previous work then it looks very much like it will do the job. download blackberry desktop software to sync music/pics - easy!

if it keeps on doing what it does now i will be very happy with it.
