"Had the HTC ONE X before and i was very keen to test out how would the One X plus be like. I am not dissapointed at all. HTC have done a good job on battery,performance and overall quality of the phone.

I am very impressed now that i had the phone for almost 48 hours. I have had the S3 before and i got bored of it. HTC has brought me back to Beats Audio music experience which i dearly missed. Battery battery battery was the biggest dilemna with the ONE X. It seems to have gone in the ONE X plus . Well done HTC. Obviously Tegra 3 is a power hungry processor. If you stay away from heavy multitasking and intensive tasks like gaming and online streaming it would last you all day easily on 3G.

I would highly recommend it. Viber, whtsapp and skype with few messages,3g browsing and facebooking should see you through all day. Buy with conifdence and dont worry about the battery. 10/10 from my side to HTC. Anything less on the battery in future HTC phones and i am not buying it anymore."

No problems with phone,it arrived on time and worked fine. I didn't realise i needed a micro sim but got that sorted with T-mobile no problem.

Very sleek, slimline phone.

The camera is a vast improvement on the HD Desire, in terms of speed, image quality and ease of changing the settings.

The screen is fabulous for reading magazines and YouTube.

The HTC one X+ is a very worthy upgrade, the increased internal memory is to silence the crowd that insist on micro SD this combined with 25 GB of dropbox cloud storage go a long way!

The phone is an incremental upgrade to the original one x (which was a very good phone) the only bugbears to the original were battery life issues and 32 gb internal (which to be fair is plenty for the average user and still double the basic iphone)

the battery improvements are good but i still wouldnt expect to get more than a day out of it, and to my mind the battery % go down terribly quickly. Its definatly an improvement and i am dispite the battery not lasting (as long as i would like) very happy with the phone. i have experienced no real issues and the jelly bean software is extreamly responsive and almost zero slow downs.

I do not like the PC companion and find it a little irritating however this is by no means a deal breaker, this is an excellent alternative to a S3/Note/Iphone5
P.s this phone doesnt come in 4G however the 4G tarrifs are ridiculously expensive and i refuse to pay more than 30 a month for a phone/contract.

This is a very fast phone with a beautiful big screen. The cameras rear and front are both excellent though it still needs a little work on the steadying software. Data transfers to this phone are very fast (my music collection of 30GB transferred pretty quickly compared to my HTC Sensation). Small data transfers are extremely quick. Even battery life is not too bad though expect to still charge it every night if used continually for phone calls and internet surfing throughout the day. I highly recommend this phone.

Firstly I know I'll be strung up on the apple tree for saying this, possibly bringing the wroth of iPhone fans, but I think the design and shape of this phone is far better than the apple alternative. On upgrading my iPhone 4 I thought I'd try this htc and I'm really impressed with it.

These are the pros:
The apps screen is really well designed
The screen is sensitive
It does what it's supposed to efficiently
In call sound quality is the best I've heard
The text prediction is awesome, highly intuitive whereas if you've had an apple product you'll know it often changes words like arse into harassment
The camera is excellent, good video quality
I've dropped it already, no scratches bumps or damage since the unit is very sturdy
You can even print screen (hold triangle and press the power button)
I get roughly three days from a charge

Now before I start to sound like a htc corp employee the cons are:
It starts fairly slowly
The media player isn't the best in terms of storing music
There isn't much option for cloud storage

Cons aside though brilliant phone, if not a shade too expensive.

As per the title (in comparison to other phones).

+ Large crisp screen
+ Nice feel
+ Much improved Android system (no more minor bugs/annoyances; it's easy to navigate; I'm confident my Dad could use it!)
+ Super fast, even browsing is noticeably faster
+ Ported my Apps over using google play with no problems
+ Good battery life for a smart phone
+ The sound is quite punchy
+ Newer bluetooth is fast and doesn't drain battery, so can be left on
+ Front facing camera
+ NFC has potential
+ Easy set up
+ Lots of free apps including a very capable Sat Nav guidance system

= No 4G (though the US version does), I hear this may be good for battery life as 4G can be power hungry.Also 2 yr contracts haven't upped their allowances very much so it's good to be throttled by 3G for now.

- No camera button. I really miss this and I probably take less photos as a consequence. If I am looking around to take a photo I don't want to be focussing my attention on a small screen
- I have big hands, the phone is possibly too large to use single handed if you have small hands
- Uses a Micro SIM so you may need to buy a micro sim card converter (£1-2)
- Default mail client is a bit basic

HTC One X + is a marvellous phone that has plenty to offer. If you're a gamer, photographer, enjoy watching movies, listening to tunes or surfing the net, this is one of the best phones you could buy.
The eight-megapixel camera has loads of tools for sharing and editing, and grabs full HD video too. The front-facing camera offers crisp results and a two-second counter.
With that 4.7-inch display it's no surprise the phone is something of a handful, but nevertheless it is slim and has a soft rubber grip.
The battery lasts for a good day, even with that powerful chip and huge display, and you'll get a good few hours of continuous video streaming.
Android Jelly Bean is great to use, especially as HTC has added its impressive Sense overlay, with intuitive menus and impressive personalisation options.
In my opinion the HTC one X plus is a superb handset and you would never regret not going for an Iphone 5 or SGIII.
