Pretty pleased with this phone - the screen is very bright and clear, and quick - swiping between applications is quick and smooth. The battery life is also good - lasts 2 to 3 days without heavy use. And the camera is excellent. Downsides: the 3 keys on the home screen are fiddly to use and sometimes take a second prod to work. And the keyboard is fiddly to use - not as good as my last phone (which was a HTC). But overall I'm pleased with it and it's certainly a lot cheaper than an iPhone or a Galaxy SIII

Hi all !
If your like me and simply want an android phone that`s built to last , simple to use and has things that actually are worth having ie 12 meg camera with 16 x zoom ,4.3 inch screen , good battery life , LED Notification light ( for emails/text etc ) good sound quality and feels like a quality solid build phone then this xperia s from sony will do the job perfectly!
I`ve tried out just about all phones to date and this one is a cracker !
Only two niggles really and that`s the 3 touch control buttons at bottom of screen can be sometimes be temperamentle if being fussy ( as i am lol ) and the usb port is protected by a cover which you have to move to one side to use but i suppose does keep it clean from dirt .
You can also watch films from this phone on your large screen tv through the inbuilt HDMI port which is a cool feature indeed along with video hd recording .
Don`t worry about what android software it`s using as software changes that quick these days it`s pointless trying to keep up with the latest phone that will run it anyway ( bit of a con really ).
Buy from amazon simply because there customer service is 1st class ( and no i don`t work for them lol ) .

Wow. I am very impressed with this phone. Sony have done an amazing job. I have used this for a few months now and I can tell you that this device is amazing. It has replaced my ipod touch, digital camera, and many other things. The software on this is really nice and the sony overlay has not been implemented to heavily over the original android software. The handset itself is a beauty. It is on the heavy side but this brings out a positive in which the device feels very premium. yes it is made out of plastic but it really doesn't feel cheap at all (unlike samsung's main offering). This is the best screen I have seen on any handset yet, the quality is amazing! The colours are just right and with the mobile bravia engine really does a good job in displaying images/videos. The camera is superb and has passed all my expectations, as well as the video recording. The walkman music software is such a nice experience and it is easy to put music from my itunes with sony's simples software (on a mac). There is no micro sd card slot but this is not necessary as there is 32gb of on board storage. The phone performs very well and it is lightening fast with the dual core 1.5ghz processor and the 1gb of ram. It rarely lags and it manages to keep up with everything even if there are loads of apps running. There are also loads of apps on the google play store to download with ease. The email on this is also very professional and useful, I love it. Best smartphone yet. Thanks sony.

Had the phone for about two months now and really pleased with it. The screen is great, it's very quick with a decent camera. It launches really well with PC's and a TV through HDMI. The only issues are the very occasional freeze and touch buttons could be a bit more responsive. People have noted about the battery which seems fine to me and I'm yet to come across a top of the range smart phone with a battery life comparable to older phones.

Very happy and would definitely recommend especially for the price.

I used xperia x10i and mini.they were not good enough.lots of crash,errors,troubles.but in xperia s sony fixed all of the troubles I had in the phones b4.android apps causes crashes and errors doesnt matter what phone u use.but in xperia s I never had any crash.its crazy.phone is quick.keyboard sensitivity best.screen is just perfect.32 gb internal space good enough.1.5ghz processor runs the apps quick so phone does.i used iphone 3 n 4.this phone s just like iphone.well I found it better than iphone.
Hdmi output is just perfect in ur screen,tv.watch movie,clips,go on facebook,play ur games,use apps or whatever u gonna do in the phone in the screen.one of the best things is when u transfer a movie to ur phone from ur comp.phone warns u that its not the format to watch in the phone.do u want to convert it? So u say yes.and bloody phone converts the movie file itself.and it saves u more space when it converts.camera s just perfect.pictures videos that perfect.doing more than u expect.3d view 3d camera s just great.
I can tell u so many great things about this phone.i dont care what people say.i believe what I see and this phone s just amazing phone

Pros: nice size screen, quality of screen is very good, camera is very good.

Cons: screen scratches very easy it needs a super amoled screen like sg3. Screen also appears to be going slightly yellow in patches. Phone is a bit blocky.

Phone is decent but I really regret not waiting for Samsung Galaxy S3 looks amazing. I'm stuck in a contact now :( sg4 next?!!

I can not recommend this phone highly enough. Superb camera on it, just a top phone. Please note this though. I previously bought 2 Xperia T's, one from Sony one from Amazon, sent them straight back! They suffer from a major manufacturing defect, a terrible buzzing noise on auto focus on the video function. DO NOT BUT A T UNLESS SONY SORT THE PROBLEM OUT! Search google of youtube for 'Xperia T noise on focus' Sony said there will be an update that may solve it BUT if it came after my 14 days returns period I would not be able to return it for a refund and at just short of £500 I wasn't willing to risk it. To be honest I can't see how the T can be any better than this S though.

Xperia S highly recommended! Xperia T avoid like the plague (until fault is fixed)

This is really a fantastic phone. It is easy to operate and fits your hand in a very nice way. The camera is fantastic and battery life is incredible contrary to what some other reviewers said here about the phone. Go grab it as it is highly recommended.

I do not like the bottom cap, apart from that rest of the phone is really good, and impressive. It has got more than 25 GB of memory and fast processor. Well I do not use all applications and features of it but nice to have.

Over all good product, far better than Crap IPhones of £000.
