I find this phone very easy to use. I am a bit of technophobe and it was a bit of a leap to go from an ordinary mobile to a smartphone. It has taken me a little while to get used to the sensitivity of the screen when typing messages and I quite frequently touch the wrong letter. The predictive text though is very good and saves a lot of typing which reduces this problem. The screen is very clear with good colours and it is very easy to read, which for us oldies is a bonus. The camera is very good and the fact that it downloads to the Google Dropbox when you are connected to WiFi makes it even better. I did not really want a Google E mail address but you have to have a google account in order to use some of the functions on the phone. I do feel that for the money the back cover could have been more robust. I have bought an Otterbox Commuter to protect the back which comes with a screen protector.
The Internet connection is very good and it has impressed me with the speed it brings up the page. The phone is quite large but slim.
I llike the fact you can change the icons/apps on the screens by dragging and dropping from one screen to the next.
The phone has to be charged more or less every day which I understand is normal for a Smartphone and is probably its biggest downside in my view.
The bluetooth connection to the car after I had worked out what to do works well and connects quickly.
WiFi connection is fast. I have found though that with the WiFi off, the battery lasts longer. So tend to only turn on when at home.
I cannot compare to other Smartphones as this is the first I have had.
I have not used all the facilities on the phone so cannot review in great detail.
With a better battery and more robust back I may have been tempted to give the phone 5 stars.

Great piece of kit!
I had an iPhone 3GS which gave me very good results and raised the bar very high, even though I decided to try out the Android OS so I got this Samsung Galaxy SIII i9305 4G ready. I'm very satisfied with both Android and the handset. It does all that my old iPhone used to do but a lot faster and on a greater screen.
Easy to use, very intuitive and if any doubts there's the instructions manual which can be downloaded online from the Samsung website.

Downsides: the only one I would mention is the battery running low very quickly. It only lasts for a whole day. But this is a problem that most smart phones have, as far as I understand.

Excellent phone...faster than the normal s3 with nearly 2gb ram instead of 1gb. Very sexy colour also, thought the pebble blue looked good, the grey looks better! Excellent service from the seller also!

Firstly - given the concerns cited about the lack of information on this product's listing at time of writing, I thought I'd confirm that this product arrived exactly as advertised, i.e. it is the newer GT-I9305 model.

The rather confusing thing about the Galaxy SIII is that there are several versions of the phone, all of which appear identical in appearance, save for some differing colour options. This particular version, the GT-I9305, is actually the second international release (not to be confused with the more familiar GT-I9300 model), which was originally only released in South Korea. This particular model boasts the highest spec of any Galaxy SIII model, with 2 Gb RAM, the international 1.4 GHz quad-core processor, all while retaining the 4G/LTE capabilities seen on the US models. In a sentence, this thing is a monstrously powerful handset. Unfortunately, this machine is also the most expensive of its brethren.

This wikipedia article differentiates the different SIII models in far greater detail: [...]

The additional Gig of RAM is a most welcome addition, I wouldn't expect to notice any significant speed increase over the I9300 but the added memory allows for an enormous number of apps to run simultaneously without signs of slowing down.

The main question to be answered here is whether this device's added capabilities warrant shelling out the additional cash over the I9300?

In cases/countries where LTE has yet to be announced, it may not be worth it. However, if you are looking for a more "future proof" handset or find yourself traveling frequently in 4G-enabled regions (probably best to get a local SIM card to avoid the roaming charges), this may be just the ticket.

Firstly i got this phone from Tmobile so cant comment on delivery etc but felt i would review it because it may help others. This phone is quite simply the 4g version of the original GS3. It does all the same things but is 4g ready, at this moment in time unless your with TMobile or Orange (soon to become EE) it's not really going to make much difference to you until all other networks in UK support 4g. I got this phone in titanium colour running on TMobile and have to say its quite an impressive bit of kit. Like everything else in life a lot of the functions you will probably never use but its always nice to have them. The battery life is a marked improvement over my old desire hd, I now get about a day and a half out my phone using it about the same way I used my old desire hd, (everyone will be different). If people are going to try and compare it to the new iPhone 5 then in my opinion don't bother, I find that some people prefer android phones and some prefer iOS phones, the preference is down to the person, both phones are excellent it just comes down to a personal choice.

Battery life - For me I get about a day and a half plus battery can be removed
Size - it's very big in the hand, some people might find it too large for day to day use
Ease of use - I've used android phones for a few years now so I'm used to them takes a bit of getting used to for a new user but not difficult
Screen - excellent screen resolution, not as good as the iPhone but not so much that you would notice
Storage - expandable storage through a SD card from the back of the phone

For something expensive and as complex as this item is, it should have a product description in great detail. This consists of nothing that would make one purchase it. Where are all the technical details?
