I loved this phone it was fast and reliable, and good for social networking sites. I rate this 4 star because its hard to get spares and repairs for these.

I bought this phone as a replacement for my daughter who had had a new one and then lost it. Whilst the phone itself works fine, it has the old software and not the full suite of features which it should have. I was wary about buying on Amazon but have always had excellent service. would certainly not buy again from this seller.

A very decent Blackberry bold, but poor battery life, the keyboard is also freakishly small and painful after a while of texting. no problems with on the delivery side Amazon was swift.

this phone has not worked properly since having it.there are minor irritations like the back not staying onbut also more major ones.i cannot add more than 20 contacts if i try to the phone freezes and i have to remove the battery,the same thing happens if i try and add a security password.Ther is something wrong with the memory,the list goes on,I was abit wary about buying a phone on amazon and will never again ! help

I do not know what on earth possessed me to spend 40 extra pounds for a white blackberry, but I did. My previous black blackberry 9700, which I was in love with, ended up in the toilet one dreary Saturday afternoon when I was suffering from jetlag and was quite clumsy. I had just returned from the US and it was too hard to get a Blackberry, unlock it have it sent to me here, blahblahblah so I bit the bullet and paid for this one since it is SIM free and I don't have to worry about unlocking it. The price is roughly the same as I would have paid with tax+unlocking in the US.

What I like about this model: Because it is not from any particular network, it comes with all the crap Blackberry loads onto its phone. It had WAY more options and bells and whistles than my previous one (AT&T). It is total freedom.

What I didn't like about this model with OS5. It froze ALL THE TIME. I had to remove the battery to restart it. It seemed to be quite buggy, probably because no provider had tested it out with certain software running. Battery life was less than one day. I had to keep my USB cord + charger in my purse with me and charge it all the time like a junkie.

I decided on a whim to back up the phone with the Blackberry Desktop software, and download OS6 from the Blackberry site. At first I hated it because the it's markedly different than the OS5 interface. It takes up a lot of memory, so you have to keep apps and such down to a minimum HOWEVER, the battery life is WAY extended-- more than two days, you can now CHOOSE your wi-fi network (which you couldn't do before), the number on the calendar icon reflects the actual day, you have control over SO many options in set up. It NEVER freezes. It's fast and responsive.

So, I'd say get a SIM free blackberry if you plan on upgrading to OS6 straight out of the gate. Otherwise, try your luck at making it work without a hassle on the existing OS5. That's why I give this a FOUR and not a FIVE.

Hi, I got this blackberry to replace my 8520. It is better; easier to set up, better camera, better sound, better pic. The downside is that you get a case for it and the display should switch off when it goes in it's case. Great feature, but it stopped working after a few months, and the handset was replaced by vodafone. Since I have got my replacement, the new handset is constantly freezing and crashing. So if you are having a problem, probably the handset is faulty. I had no problems whatosever with my first one.

Came much quicker than expected ordered it on Friday afternoon had dispatched that evening and came first thing Monday morning!!! Cannot stop playing with it its totally amazing a ten out of ten!!! Only problem I have is I wish the battery life was longer but thats probably a consequence of me BB ing all the time as well as downloading cool apps (doing all this my phone lasts around 2-3 days with constant activity!!) xxx

Phone is nice but delivery in Italy was a problem. The SDA (deliverer) was very unprofessional. they said they had come but did not find anybody home and then left without leaving a notification.
