I bought this phone as a present for my 18 year old daughter, it is an expensive phone but it was what she wanted and I have to say she loves it. It is great for all the social networking that she does as well as calls and texts that she also does a lot of, it also looks great and is easy to use even for a 50 something like me

I bought the mobile thinking about the mobile more the headphones, finally came just the mobile. Very bad. I saw the same 50 pounds cheaper.

I have nothing much to say because am not an expert on mobile phones. This phone is just brilliant. I wanted a new phone with big screen and nice camera. My friend recommended this phone to me and I bought it since then am just in love with it.. I love downloading apps, taking nice photos and reading books is now much easier in buses and trams. I just love

This is a great phone, bought primarily for the huge screen. Pixels are enough to read documents etc, play games. Camera is absolutely stunning. Music sounds great with Beats Audio.

Okay I would like to start off by saying that I liked this phone when it first appeared on the market it has that look of quality but when you know what's inside there's some things to look at.

I would like to Start of by saying I now own a xe after having this for 3 months

Screen : The xl has a good size screen and that's about where it finishes its got very low pixel quality and is generally quite blurry comapred to the xe which has a much higher resolution screen compared and it generally looks nicer when playing games.

Camera : pretty much both the same in spec did get some lovely pictures out of the xl but the front camera on the xl is better but they are both good (1.3 v VGA)

Processor : both are 1.5gz but xe is dual core much better and so much faster

Memory : xl wins on internal 13gb v 1gb after software but I reckon if you buy a class ten mirco sd card for sensation xe you will be happier because you have more memory but the internal on the xl runs faster then the xe but buy a memory card as I said you will be away

Over all for me xe is better simply because of the dual core processor and better screen quality

have just taken delivery of this phone,I bought it as a sim free so as not to be tied to a network, and not have logo's etc on the phone, it is sensational, really easy to use despite its complexity, it seems to think for itself, and the right screen etc is always just there at the right time. the really big screen is fantastic and so easy to type with. all in all I would highly recommend it, if I were to have a niggle it is with the power button, it is flush with the body so is difficult to press and as it has to be pressed each time to wake it up this could be better designed, also the battery life is only one day, I have bought a bigger capacity battery so should be ok, but why on earth do they not put this in in the first place.

I have had this phone for a few days now, and i am simply amazed. there is not a single bad point i can make about this phone. let me first address the bad things other people have been saying. they say that the phone screen resolution is not top quality, i can honestly say the screen looks just as good, if not better than iphone 4s and samsung galaxy s2, i have compared them. they say that the battery is not that good, i think this is incorrect, i only have to charge my phone once every 1-2 days. also people have been saying that it doesn't have a dual core processor, the phone is simply lightning fast even if it has a single core processor, browsing, interface, everything is super fast.

Some people have said that "the only good features are the screen size and headphone audio" well to me that is not just two good features but two EPIC features. If you think about it the iphones main selling point is siri and the samsung s2 is the processor, i think the sensation XL has much better headlines in terms of major selling points.

If you are looking for a phone that is the best looking phone on the market, this is the one. not only is it beautiful but it has a strong solid build and it feels really good in your hands, it has a really nice weight.

The product arrived the next day, when i ordered it from amazon, it is 370 quid well spent. I love it more every day. Best phone out right now. You will not find a single bad feature on this phone. It will last a good 2 or 3 years.

HTC.. QUIETLY BRILLIANT!

I've had the phone 4 weeks now and I am not disappointed at all. The build quality feels very good, and the 4.7 inch screen looks just as good (if not better) than other smartphones with the higher resolutions. The Sense 3.5 also works well and the user interface is extremely easy to use compared to the majority of smartphones on the current market. Apps load up quickly, the screen has never frozen on me, and the phone has never reset itself.

I think the HTC Sensation XL has an excellent battery. On a normal day I'll listen to some music, play games, surf the net on Wi-Fi, maybe take a few photos, watch some YouTube videos, send texts, make phone calls...... And I'm still getting a day and a half on the battery.

The sound on this phone is brilliant with the Dr Dre Beats Headphones (which are included in the box).

Ok you only get 16gb internal memory with no Micro SD slot, but unless you want to store loads of movies on your phone, 16gb is more than enough.

Why on earth anyone would buy an iPhone over the HTC Sensation XL is beyond me.

Overall I'd give this phone 10/10. Well done HTC!
