Ordered late evening of 7th February 2013, arrived by Royal Mail parcel (offshore Islands) mid day 9th Feb. Excellent delivery service.

I purchased this phone primarily because of the dual sim function with smartphone features and of course the price. I read reviews on other smartphones with the dual sim function (mostly Samsung) but frankly wasn't impressed with them. I had almost given up on finding a Galaxy-type smartphone with dual sim when I came across this little gem.

I have to agree with other users in that the charger is almost useless, the camera is very sensitive and takes a long time to light-adjust, you need a magnifying glass to read the manual and the battery though adequate is not quite up to the mark. Otherwise the phone and the Android features are what you would expect from a branded smartphone. The important thing for me is the dual sim functionality and that works a treat.

One month on and it's giving sterling service.

For the money this is a very good phone. At least it works as a phone unlike my £450 nokia. Most of the functionality of a high end smartphone is there. A few things to note: camera is variable and no built in magnetic sensor. Compasd fails to Work. Dual sim is fantastic, choose whicj acount uou dial out on. Good value.

I agree with pretty much everything previously written.....very good performance on wi-fi. I note the following negatives. Poor charger. Dreadful manual. No compass hardware is a pain - you cannot correctly orientate a map, or judge which direction you're pointing. Overall a good device with excellent value for money, but perfect it aint.

This device is very cheap for what it is.
This phone has run everything I've thrown at it. Although, as with all android models, the phone slows considerably if multiple applications are left running simultaneously provided you bother to close your apps when you're done with them this phone should hold up well.
It seems durable, well constructed and has a wide variety of features.
The camera quality seems fairly good perhaps not HD as quoted but it is good enough for my needs.
When connected to fast wifi the download rate is very high which i was impressed with. The bluetooth works fine. The sound quality is more than manageable.
I haven't dropped it so I can't comment on whether it is hard wearing or not but these sort of devices are generally too sensitive to sustain large impacts so I doubt it.
A sensitive screen with good resolution.
This generic smart phone is much better than the generic tablet i bought a few months back with much greater screen sensitivity, resolution and operating speed. I now only use my tablet when a larger screen is preferable, for example when taking lecture notes or reading from steam tables.
Although the computer components inside would not be worth this price on a desktop (although PC World still would have charged it) as the phone is so slim and compact I find it remarkable that this sort of netbook capability is now available in such a small portable size at such low prices.
In comparison to the brand phones I don't believe this phone is any weaker, in fact i'd say it is much better value for money until you reach the high end smart phones which are a lot more powerful obviously but come with a price tag several times the size of the one on this.

Do not under any circumstances do a factory reset as this wipes out both IMEI numbers on the phone and makes it impossible to use, until you can reinstate them, which is extremely difficult and time consuming.
Apart from that the phone appears to be very good and a solid build which is a good size for the hand.

Bought the phone based on price and the reviews of previous purchasers. The phone arrived within 24 hours (very impressive). The handbook is absolutely useless! As this is my first smartphone and I am not a gadget geek it took me some hours to find my way around the operating system. The major struggle was getting the 3G to work. I am an O2 PAYG customer. Went to 3 different O2 shops to ask them to check the settings. Whilst the sales people are helpful they are only really knowledgeable about the phones they sell. At the third attempt the salesman in Berwick-upon-Tweed, took the phone over to their technical specialist who adjusted the settings and had 3G up and running within 2 minutes. However, I am sorry to say I don't know how he did it. I thought I had gone through all the possible permutations and 3G was selected (but would never connect). As I will not need to use the 3G on a daily basis I have opted for an O2 bolt-on at £3 per month. Probably not as slick as an apple iPhone (based on my experience with my iPad) but a fraction of the price. Since purchasing the phone about 10 days ago the price has dropped £20 and is a real bargain at £120. If you have any initial problems it is worth reading through all the previous reviews for clues on how to resolve the issue.
The adapter is so bulky I suggest you put it away in a draw and purchase an adapter from Amazon, I use the adapter I bought to charge the Kindle.
When ordering the phone I got the usual message "ALSO FREQUENTLY PURCHASED WITH THIS PRODUCT". It was a 32 Gb micro SD card and a case for the phone. I recommend you buy the SD card but not the case.
Edit (3rd March 13). Tried to download 2 films via Google Play, the films would not download, on both occasions I received an error message, (COULDN'T FETCH LICENCE, ERROR 43). I forwarded the issue to Google along with a screen-shot (by selecting the settings option) but at the time of writing this review, Google who did respond, have not resolved this issue.

Like many others I am very pleased with my purchase which I received about two weeks ago. From order to delivery took just over a week from Dracotek.

I echo the comments of others. It is a good fast phone with a nice clear screen. Although I am not using the second sim slot I can readily see the value of this feature especially for those who may wish to separate their work and domestic phone activity.

I am slightly frustrated that you don't seem to be able to load apps direct to the SD card and am currently examining the possibility of rooting to overcome this. This said although I have loaded a number of apps I still have plenty of internal and phone memory left - I do make a point of individually moving apps from internal memory to phone memory where possible.

The camera is OK in daylight but poor in artificial light indoors.

Comparing this phone with my wife's Iphone 4s (purchased only last June but already outdated) I would say this phone matches the latter in many respects including speed. Is the Iphone better - yes - but nothing like the 4x times difference in price!

This is a great value product but the instructions encourage technophobia! As a 'mature' person who has lived happily with an old Nokia that was good at making calls and texts (that was all!) I wanted to update so that I could do more. However, the learning curve is not helped by the dreadful instructions. Also, opening the back to install the sim card was quite tricky at first as \\i was worried about the risk of excessive force and potential damage. However, the case seems fairly robust and you just need to get the knack. Battery life, however is not great but they do supply 2 which is helpful. Overall, I would say this is a good value product which could be improved to rate 5 stars by adding better instructions

These phones are a generic copy of the samsung galaxy. I bought mine direct from a local importer here, as it was some 30euros cheaper. The phone itself is excellent, but the handbook is useless!
Android 4 is easy to use, even for me with my first smartphone,and so far after 3 weeks I am still very pleased. I have taken the advice of some previous reviews and disabled certain things and I have found battery life is about 4 days, with phone calls, messages and some pictures.
