The Doro PhoneEasy is extremely useful for those with sight problems. The spacing of the letters, words and choices of the program is too small. For someone who has very slight sight problems

I had been looking for a phone with 4 features in mind. I did not want a smartphone with internet, social networking, touch screens that often do not respond to the touch and all the huge variety of apps that I would never use. After some research I found this one which does exactly what I need it to do. 1) Make Calls 2) Send Text Messages 3) Take photographs 4) Listen to music tracks in the gym with a bluetooth wireless headset.
Perfect for me and probably a few more folk out there. Its also sim free which allows me to choose any sim only deal going without the burdon of a 24 month contract.

Really cool phone easy to use with big numbers and it also has a camera which is important so if you want a phone that is easy to use then this is the phone for you.

I wanted a phone without all the palaver of touch screen, internet and what have you and this one fits the bill. It's clear and easy to use like mobile phones used to be before they became status symbols for folks that don't use most of the features anyway. Bluetooth would have been nice as my car would then see it but it's no big deal without.

This is a lovely phone to look at and handle and the red colour is attractive. I also like the back view window where you can see who's calling without opening the clam shell lid. It is reasonably loud when listening although the sound distorts at higher volumes. The keys on this phone, unlike the older model are awful ! They just don't press properly unless you press them dead centre which rather negates the point of large keys. But oh dear, What is the point of the STUPID ABORT BUTTON ? !! Instead of being able to put the loud speaker on BEFORE you connect, thus being able to hear the ringing out tone you have to wait until the other end answers. The ringing out volume on this phone is hardly audible, and quite inaudible in a noisy environment. This stupid abort button should be for the speaker only, or alternatively, use the spare message button which is not needed. Note: if you want to abort the call just press the red button or close the lid. This is bad design and spoils otherwise lovely phone. The notion that putting the loud speaker on before the other end answers is technically difficult, is a non starter. I know of at three or more phones that have this simple and essential requirement, including the small samsung flip over which sells brand new in the high street for just £7.50 ! Doro can do better than this.

A cracking little phone if you're not hot on technology and you've got a sight impairment, as the keys and screen font are super large. However, if you're used to the speed of smart phones then this will disappoint. I'm hoping that they'll think smart for the next edition.

Difficult to know what to add that is different to all the other excellent reviews for this phone, both black and red versions. It just does its job perfectly.
I am a disillusioned smart-phone owner,fed up with short battery life, echo when speaking, having to swipe to answer a call only to find that if my fingers are damp it won't swipe so I miss a call and then spend a fortune calling everyone back!! I don't really want or need endless games and trickery, I just want a PHONE, something to make and receive calls easily, something to text with, an efficient alarm, a good calculator and a good battery life and at last (with this jolly little red job) I have it.
In answer to the reviewer who had problems with his blue-tooth connection I have to say that this appears to have been resolved. I can make and receive hands free calls in the car via my Parrot divice so all is well.

I had a fall and realised that without my glasses I could not phone for help. I decided to change my phone. This is the easiest most useful piece of equipment I have ever purchased. My husband also has one.

This is a very nice phone with a camera for all those important photograhs moments. It come with a very friendly uses guide book to get you started. The text is a nice size easy to read.
