This phone was great for a few months after I bought it, after that, it started to go run very slowly, freezes often, sometimes the screen won't unlock.

Feels like I have bought a slow phone, when in fact the phone should be fast, I blame HTC Sense for this.

Battery life is quite poor, I can charge it to full in the morning, and by the end of the day it will be dead. This is under low usage (sending about 10 text messages, about 30 facebook messages)

Also, Beats are rubbish, I don't even know what the software does, as far as I can tell, the phone actually reduces the audio quality of your music, and returns it to normal when you enable beats audio... (This conclusion was through music comparisons from my pc, laptop, and the phone.)

I bought this phone just over a year ago, have the days of a device lasting at least 2 years come to an end?

I am now looking at the Nexus 4, mostly due to vanilla android, this phone has left a bitter taste in my mouth regarding Android phones with custom overlays.

Bought as a replacement for a smashed screen sensation this slightly upgraded version is just as good but the beats audio earphones are immense especially if you love to have the bass up loud.

When I first got this phone every thing in on it worked fine. however 11 months down the line and this phone is absolutely useless. I can not get a reception in my home even though my
wife has the same network and cheap phone gets a superb reception. The phone is forever switching itself off for no reason. I can be in the middle of a text and phone freezes and switches off.
No matter how hard you try it will not switch back on until its ready to do so sometimes an half hour later. Also sometimes it will not let you make a call, you press call it waits a couple of mins then goes back to the front page. I have been so angry when trying to use this phone that I have been tempted to throw it against a wall.
On some occasions when talking on the phone it has switched off in mid sentance and as I have said it wont switch back on.
I will never buy an HTC phone ever again. You have been warned.

Great sound quality and game graphics BUT the battery is awful the phone overheats and freezes. we have had many problems with the phone:
It has been sent away 7 times in total
htc gave me a refurbished model, still broke
they forgot to give me new beats after one earphone concked out on me
on the wire of the earphone, after a while a greeny black substance that you have to scrape off appears due to the pouch they come in.
camera is just ok when recording video, picture is magnificent but sound is woeful
beeats have broke a second time, now monster have not taken responsibility nor the carphone warehouse, so i have to send them to htc
gets infected easily (common with android) easy solution factory reset the phone, go into settings to find it.
after it has been on for 24-48 hours or so it wont connect to calls or it just takes ages.
anywhere out of the city if i go to a town or something i get no reception at all unless i'm in a big city and everyone else around me with blackberry and iphones does.

Don't buy phone, it may seem great for a while but trust me you will have faults. also desperately bad overheating problem

I have read lot of reviews about this mobile before buying this and i would say this is a master piece. Since you get android 4.0 ice cream sandwich as a upgrade for this mobile , you feel like double win.
I simply love it.

I gifted this phone to my girlfriend in February 2012 and it seemed fine with one only big problem: battery life was very low and we bought another battery.
However, after the last update (October 2012) the phone started switching itself off. The HTC assistance is absolutely useless (see the hundreds of forum on the topic). Further more, the charging port on the side of the phone (where you plug to charge) broke down (another common problem - see all the forum online) after only 6 months usage and HTC wanted £140 to replace it as "this is normal with usage and therefore not covered by warranty".
Advice: avoid buying an HTC. We had a HTC Diamond in the past and shared similar problems. It's unlikely something they'll manage to solve and HTC as a company is unreliable. HTC = Con men.
Amazon should stop selling these phones!!!

I recieved the phone very promptly. Eagerly, i tore open the box to immediately try out the Beats Audio with the Beats earphones as i thought i would receive. I paid £100 extra for the Sensation XE than the standard Sensation and the difference does seem noticeable in the software, speed and sleekness. However, the main reason for me purchasing the upgraded version for so much more, was for the Beats earphones as i thought i was getting. I felt let down, however the fantastic browser and set up simplicity made up for it...partially.
I am greatly impressed in the difference between this phone and my last phone - Blackberry Curve 8520. The camera is astounding, the typing is easy (though i do prefer the Blackberry's QWERTY keyboard) and the screen resolution is magnificent. I would highly recommend this phone, and although there were no Dre Beats earphones, Amazon did offer me a 10% refund (£30 roughly), which won't get me the earphones, but it is appreiated. Personally, having used the iPhone 4, I think this phone is better, with the exception of the app store. It's thinner and has navigational buttons that the iPhone does not!

I have had this phone for 4 months now and i wanted to say that this phone is almost as fast as my laptop , has phenomenal sound , ( ok , has no equaliser but even if it had i do not think i can tune up the sound the way beats audio dos ) , will take nice pictures in the dark where the lights of i phone , samsung, blackberry , etc will fail and i have witnessed that scenario on many occasions , and can be turned in to a portable wifi hotspot , so if you have unlimited data usage in ur phone contract u can use the phone to supply the internet in the house or anywhere u r . Great ! A true representative of are era .
ps . i forgot to mention that the headphones that come with this phone are out of this world and are worth around £80 (beats audio)
