Purchased this for my wife who is thrilled with the phone as it caters for all her communication and information requirements. A handsome product which is easy to use and carry. 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful

I stuck with a Nokia N97 for 3 years for one reason: It had a physical flip-out keyboard. I much prefer this to being dependant on touchscreen-only. I know I'm not alone. If a keyboard isn't a must-have feature for you then look elsewhere because there are lots of other phones out there with little or no differences from each other.Honestly I'd have no problems recommending this phone, but the reasons I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the following:
Memory.
It comes with 1GB internal, of which it seems 512MB is untouchable. The rest is used as memory. As you install & run apps, available memory goes down.
As with a number of other Android devices it is possible to view the apps list, select an individual item and "Move to SDCARD" (an 8GB MicroSD is provided, although apps don't install to that by default). This frees up available memory/space, but isn't possible to do with all apps -especially much of the preinstalled Sony software and apps that have widgets.
At first I was seeing maybe 60 -100MB available memory and the phone ran slow quite slowly- when I clicked the 'phone icon' to use it as a phone I could wait perhaps (it felt like) 20 seconds before the numbers and contacts would appear. This was not good.
Since installing an 'App Killer' app I now usually have around 256MB free and clicking the phone icon has the phone options onscreen without undue delay.
Screen.
The screen can be a little picky at times, requiring a number of presses (especially on the edges) before it is registered. This is not normal behaviour on this phone, but I've noticed it at times which is why I mention it at all. Normally a light touch is all that's required.
Processor.
The phone is over a year old at time of review. It suits my needs perfectly, but if I didn't also have an Android tablet I might be annoyed that it has difficulty running more graphics-intensive games, etc..
That's not what I have this phone for though.
The preinstalled music software seems good. I upgraded to a 32GB microSD and put most of my music onto it. It was picked up quickly enough and plays without delays, etc.
I still find nice touches on this phone, but it's hard to say how much is down to Android and how much down to hardware/ SONY Ericcson. Currently running Android 4.0.4 (update available on power-up, although it updated _again_ after I connected it to the pc, which brought it to 4.0.4 I think).
In short: Keyboard lovers look no further.
5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome, 5 Jun 2012

Bought this for 175 elsewhere; but AMAZING phone.ICS (Android v4) update just released...
N.B. on the old android version, screenshots were taken by holding the power button until there was a popup. The new software requires the power button to be held along with the volume rocker.
Check GSM arena for other specs. :P
